Tall Tales and Stretching the Truth . . .

Tall Tales are . . .

Silly and obviously NOT true, but told as if they were.
Many of them started as stories about REAL people, but the story became exaggerated.

Objectives Met:
 1.2.4 Maintain a critical stance by questioning the validity and accuracy of all information.
4.3.2 Recognize that resources are created for a variety of purposes.
HOT Questions:
What are some of the things that happen that CANNOT be true?
What are some of the things that could be true?
Have you ever heard a story that sounded only partly true?
What word did we learn?
